 Η διαχείριση και λειτουργία του ιστολογίου, γίνεται με αποκλειστική ευθύνη των μελών του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου. Στόχος είναι η  πληρέστερη, έγκυρη και έγκαιρη ενημέρωση αλλά και η άμεση επικοινωνία των Γονέων  των Μαθητών και των Εκπαιδευτικών με θέματα αποκλειστικά και μόνο που αφορούν την Παιδεία στη χώρα μας και ιδιαίτερα του Δήμου μας αλλά και σε διοικητικά και οικονομικά που αφορούν τη Σχολική Επιτροπή Β΄θμιας για την εύρυθμη λειτουργία της Σχολικής μας Μονάδας.                                                                                                                                   Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι  στη δημιουργία του ιστολογίου μας, συνέβαλε ουσιαστικά ο αποφοιτήσας από το Λύκειό μας μαθητής Γιώργος Καλογεράκης και η όλη προσπάθεια γίνεται με την εθελοντική προσφορά των μελών του Δ.Σ.  χωρίς καμία οικονομική επιβάρυνση για το Σύλλογο μας.

The European Youth Forum Education First Aims to Tackle Global Teachers Shortage “Ensure that by 2015, children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling.” This ambitious objective is the second of the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) agreed upon in 2000 and set to be achieved by 2015. With three years and three months ahead of us, a lot remains to be done. A concrete push has been made however, on the 26th of September, when the United Nations Secretary-General announced Education First. // Top Story Read More The Role of Youth at the World Forum for Democracy Democracy as an agent of peace, a guarantor of progress and prosperity, as a tool for young people to express their opinions -democracy in all its faces was celebrated during the first ever World Forum for Democracy. Taking place in Strasbourg from 5th-11th October, the Council of Europe celebrated one of its core values. Throughout recent years, the pan-European institution has stepped up its efforts in the field of democracy, culminating now in the World Forum. // Top Story Read More Putting the Issue of Social Exclusion on The Table On the 11th October, young representatives of different youth organisations gathered with policy makers, researchers, and spokepersons of social organisations for the roundtable on social inclusion. Worried about the social marginalisation of an increasing amount of young people, the European Youth Forum brought various stakeholders together at the European Parliament. The roundtable comes at a time when young people find it increasingly difficult to make a smooth transition from education to employment, leaving many of them stuck in-between. // Employment & Social Affairs Read More European Social Fund out of money Past cuts in the 2012 budget of four billon euros have led to shortages today. At the beginning of October, Alain Lamassoure, Chair of the budget committee, announced that the European Social Fund is bankrupt. The French conservative politician accused Member States that drove the austerity measures of shooting themselves in the foot by putting various programmes at stake. With an estimated deficit of 10 billion euros, additional financial help is very much needed. Budget Commissioner Janusz Lewandowski will therefore ask Member States for additional funds. // Employment & Social Affairs Read More The World Bank Links Jobs with Development Yearly, the World Bank publishes the World Development Report, which looks into a specific aspect of economic development. The focus of the recently published 2013 edition is jobs. Since around the world, most people who get out of poverty do so through jobs, the latest analysis of the international financial institution suggests that jobs are a cornerstone for inclusive growth and a driver for development. A significant demographic challenge lies ahead however. With many young people ready to join the labour market, many new jobs have to be created. // Employment & Social Affairs Read More Education as A Way out of The Crisis? On 4th-5th October, the EU informal meeting of Education ministers took place in Nicosia, Cyprus. The gathering was preceded by a presentation given by Christopher Pissarides, Cypriot Nobel laureate Professor of Economics. Pissarides stressed in his speech the relationship between education and economic development. According to him, a good education policy is crucial in helping young people in times of recession but also to improve labour market prospects in the long-run. With this, he set the stage for the informal meeting, which further discussed education as a way out of the crisis. // Education Read More Worrying Evolutions in the Field of LGBTQ Rights Worrying evolutions in the field of LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) rights could be observed throughout the last weeks. They began with the 9th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Youth in St. Petersburg, where the Member States of the Council of Europe stumbled over the phrasing “gender equality and sexual orientation”. Not able to come to a consensus, the Ministers failed to agree upon a final declaration. // Human Rights Read More The Problematic Gap between Refugee Labour Rights and Reality In theory in some countries foreigners are granted the right to work but in practice numerous obstacles exist for refugees to find employment. To discuss this issue a conference was organised on the 27th of September by the United Nations Refugee Agency and the Council of Europe. Assessing legal practices and standards across Europe, the high-level meeting recognised that rights for refugees do not seem to be improving. // Human Rights Read More Young Protesters March against Austerity At the beginning of October, Eurostat published its latest unemployment figures. These illustrate once more that we are not quite at the end of the crisis yet and that a disproportionate amount of young people have fallen victim to unemployment. As such, in August unemployment figures across the European Union reached a new high with 22,6 % of those under 25 unemployed. But there are also countries like Greece and Spain that largely exceed the average and where more than half of the young people are without jobs. // Participation & Youth Policy Mainstreaming Read More The Main European Political Parties Declare Themselves Ready to Engage in a Dialogue with Youth 9th October, half past three, representatives of the main European political parties, gather in the European Parliament to show their commitment to the League of Young Voters. The League is an electoral platform that aims to engage young people in a dialogue with policy makers. In this way, youth will be provided with background information on the European Parliament elections of 2014. Likewise, young people will be adequately informed about the youth agendas of the different political parties. But they will also be able to voice their own concerns, such as participating in political debates. // Participation & Youth Policy Mainstreaming Read More Discussing the Recognition of Non-Formal Learning and Youth Work in Albania Between the 1st and the 3th of October, participants from over 20 European countries gathered for a symposium in Tirana, Albania. Ambitious in scope, discussions focused on two inter-related topics. Firstly, participants were invited to reflect on the youth policy in South-Eastern Europe. After assessing the current situation, the discussions shifted to methods on how to push youth work on the political agenda of the countries of the region. // Youth Work Development Read More

During the event, representatives from 97 Member Organisations exchanged their visions on the future of the platform. This led to many important outcomes. Firstly the members elected a new leadership. // Top Story Read More European Union Budget for 2014-2020 Put on Hold The European Union Budget for 2014 – 2020 was at stake during the European Council meeting on 22nd – 23rd November 2012. Many discussions had preceded the high-level meeting and much tension had been building up in its run-up. In times during which many member states have reverted to austerity measures, outlining the Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF) 2014 – 2020, was no easy exercise. In the end, on 23th, it became clear that opinions of the different key actors were too far apart and that more time is needed to be invested in consensus building. // Top Story Read More United Against Austerity José Manuel Barroso was awarded the ‘Nobel Austerity Prize’ and workers across the Iberian Peninsula stopped working in a four hour strike hitting the biggest towns and cities in Italy. These were only some of the events marking the first ever pan-European strike. Called for by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), the coordinated day of action carried a message of disagreement with the dominant culture of austerity that currently reigns across the European Union. // Employment & Social Affairs Read More High Youth Unemployment: becoming the norm across EU Throughout the last months, Eurostat, the statistics agency of the European Union, has repeatedly released worsening unemployment figures and it seems unlikely that this trend is going to change in the near future. Looking to the autumn economic forecast, released by the European Commission on 7th November, high unemployment numbers, and particularly youth unemployment numbers, are looking to become the norm in the European Union. // Employment & Social Affairs Read More Mobilising for Erasmus Amidst 2013 Budget Issues ‘Education and training must be at the heart of Europe's response [to the crisis]. Any civilised society wants to invest in the future of its young people.’ These are the from an open letter to the European Union’s heads of state and government, signed by more than 100 European personalities from the worlds of education, art, literature, economics, philosophy and sport. The appeal comes in a context of austerity, leading to budget cuts hitting education as well. Worrying signals have as such come on the Erasmus programme. // Education Read More Rethinking Education Youth unemployment figures across the European Union are approaching 23% and might break new records next year. When we look at the labour market itself though, it is hard to ignore the 2 million job vacancies that are out there. To bridge the gap between education and the labour market, the European Commission called to rethink Education. // Education Read More Children’s Welfare in The Spotlight for One Day 23 years ago, on the 20th November 1989, the General Assembly of the United Nations signed the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Since then the civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children have been formally inscribed in the treaty. Today, all Council of Europe countries have signed the Convention and the 20th November is celebrated as the Universal Children’s Day. That children will account for 90% of the next billion people by 2025, is only exemplary to illustrate how important this group is for the future. // Human Rights Read More Discussing on Internet Governance in Azerbaijan’s Capital ‘Internet Governance for Sustainable Human, Economic and Social Development’ was up for discussion at the 7th internet Governance Forum (IGF), in Baku, Azerbaijan, 6th - 9th November. Organised by the United Nations, the Forum brings together various key stakeholders to discuss internet related topics. As such, government representatives met with civil society, internet service providers (ISPs), international institutions, think tanks and the providers of infrastructures for the web from all over the world. // Human Rights Read More Cluj-Napoca: European Youth Capital 2015 The title of European Youth Capital (EYC) is awarded every year to a city that encourages youth participation, not only at a local level but though building bridges with the European level. ΓΕΝΙΚΗ ΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΕΙΑ ΝΕΑΣ ΓΕΝΙΑΣ: ΚΥΨΕΛΕΣ ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΗΜΑΤΙΚΟΤΗΤΑΣ

Newsletter Διαγωνισμός «Καινοτομίας Επιχειρηματικής Ιδέας» για νέους 18-30 ετών Η Γενική Γραμματεία Νέας Γενιάς, επιδιώκοντας  να ενθαρρύνει την νεανική επιχειρηματικότητα στη χώρα μας, προκηρύσσει διαγωνισμό «ΚαινοτομίαςΕπιχειρηματικής Ιδέας», (από 15 Δεκεμβρίου 2012 έως 20 Ιανουαρίου 2013), με σκοπό την ανάδειξη νέων επιχειρηματικών ιδεών και τη διευκόλυνση της υλοποίησής τους. Ο διαγωνισμός εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο του συγχρηματοδοτούμενου προγράμματος του ΕΣΠΑ«Κυψέλες Επιχειρηματικότητας», που εγκρίθηκε από το επιχειρησιακό πρόγραμμα «Εκπαίδευση και Δια Βίου Μάθηση» του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων, Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού. To πρόγραμμα υποστηρίζει την ωρίμαση και υλοποίηση των επιχειρηματικών σχεδίων νέων, ηλικίας 18-30 ετών, που συμμετείχαν ή θα συμμετάσχουν σε Διαγωνισμούς Επιχειρηματικότητας, με απώτερο σκοπό την ωρίμανση και την υλοποίηση των επιχειρηματικών τους σχεδίων.  Σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα, οι νέοι θα φιλοξενούνται σε εξειδικευμένους  χώρους συνεργασίας («Κυψέλες») για διάστημα τεσσάρων (4) μηνών, όπου θα συνεργάζονται με άλλους νέους στη διαμόρφωση των επιχειρηματικών τους  ιδεών. Κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής τους, θα τους χορηγείται υποτροφία -το ποσό της οποίας διαμορφώνεται ανάλογα με τον τόπο μόνιμης κατοικίας- ώστε να επικεντρωθούν απερίσπαστοι στην ανάπτυξη των επιχειρηματικών τους σχεδίων. Βασικός σκοπός είναι, οι Χώροι Συνεργασίας να λειτουργήσουν ως «εκκολαπτήρια» για τους νέους δυνητικούς επιχειρηματίες καθώς, στους χώρους αυτούς δημιουργούνται ευνοϊκές συνθήκες για την ανάπτυξη συνεργασιών και την επεξεργασία ιδεών και σχεδίων. Για την επίβλεψη, την υποστήριξη και την αποτελεσματική λειτουργία κάθε χώρου (προσέλκυση ειδικών συμβούλων και επενδυτών) θα λειτουργήσει  άμισθο συμβούλιο προσωπικοτήτων. Στους χώρους αυτούς θα οργανώνονται σε εβδομαδιαία βάση Ενημερωτικές/Εκπαιδευτικές ημερίδες, καθώς και τακτικές επισκέψεις συμβούλων/καθοδηγητών. Το πρόγραμμα «Κυψέλες Επιχειρηματικότητας», υλοποιείται σε δύο (2) φάσεις:   Στην πρώτη (πιλοτική) φάση - Ιανουάριος-Απρίλιος 2013- έχουν ήδη επιλεγεί να συμμετάσχουν διακριθέντες σε διαγωνισμούς καινοτομίας που διοργανώνουν ανεξάρτητοι φορείς. Στην πιλοτική φάση, «Κυψέλες» θα λειτουργήσουν σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη.  Στην δεύτερη φάση, που έχει προγραμματιστεί για το τετράμηνο Μαΐου Αυγούστου 2013, θα συμμετάσχουν τόσο οι διακριθέντες από διαγωνισμούς ανεξάρτητων φορέων όσο και  οι διακριθέντες στο διαγωνισμό «Καινοτομίας Νέας Επιχειρηματικής Ιδέας» που διοργανώνει η Γενική Γραμματεία Νέας Γενιάς. Σε αυτή τη φάση, «Κυψέλες» θα λειτουργήσουν σε Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη, Ηράκλειο και Πάτρα. Ο διαγωνισμός απευθύνεται σε όλους τους νέους 18-30 ετών, που είναι μόνιμοι  κάτοικοι της Ελλάδας, της Κύπρου και άλλων χωρών μελών της Ε.Ε. καθώς και σε Έλληνες που κατοικούν σε οποιαδήποτε άλλη χώρα του εξωτερικού. Δεν έχουν δικαίωμα συμμετοχής:   (α) όσοι νέοι έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει τη λειτουργία επιχείρησης, υλοποιώντας πριν από την ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας επιλογής, είτε ατομικά, είτε ως επιχειρηματική ομάδα, το Επιχειρηματικό τους Σχέδιο, για το οποίο διακρίθηκαν, είτε με ίδια μέσα είτε με χρηματοδότηση από τρίτον και  (β) όσοι νέοι έχουν παραχωρήσει με σχετική σύμβαση δικαίωμα εμπορικής εκμετάλλευσης του επιχειρηματικού σχεδίου τους σε τρίτους. Οι προτάσεις των ενδιαφερομένων, θα πρέπει να αφορούν σε μια από τις παρακάτω Θεματικές Ενότητες: 1) Επιχειρηματικότητα στον τομέα των Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών. 2)  Υπηρεσίες στους τομείς του Περιβάλλοντος Πολιτισμού Αθλητισμού με χρήση νέων τεχνολογιών. 3) Αγροτική επιχειρηματικότητα.  4) Γενικές επιχειρηματικές προτάσεις. Η κατάθεση της επιχειρηματικής ιδέας, θα πρέπει να γίνει ηλεκτρονικά από τις 15 Δεκεμβρίου 2012 έως 20 Ιανουαρίου 2013  στο email kainotomia@neagenia.gr σε μορφή word.doc και PDF και δεν θα πρέπει να ξεπερνάει τις 10 σελίδες. Επίσης, οι συμμετέχοντες θα πρέπει να συμπληρώνουν ηλεκτρονικάτα στοιχεία τους ή/και τα στοιχεία των υπολοίπων μελών της ομάδας τους στο έντυπο υποβολής προσωπικών στοιχείων.
